Support is generic in FAQ and Knowledge base and otherwise nonexistant (which is par for almost all companies today). It stopped installing at about 90% both times.
Picture in relatively low light is what I would consider excellent. Movement of hand in front of camera has some ghosting.
The video quality of this Qickcam is extremely good with resolution options from email to 4 MB. My other problem was the inability to install the program on my desktop after two tries including uninstalling the partially installed program.
My problems relate to the microphone which I could not get to work after configuring in both Logitech Audo Wizard and Windows Audio settings. Audio was available when I used an old microphone (one more than 6 years old).
On my laptop, it installed as it should have. I would recommend it for inexpensive video quality if you can get it installed.
This is a great webcam, the colors, sound and imaged quality are really nice. I thought it wouldn't matter what Cam you bought so I first purchased a cheaper one, after having this one I've noticed it makes all the difference in the world. I gave my other away. I don't have a bad thing to say about it and if I were to buy another one for someone else, I would definitely buy this one again.
I bought 2, one for me and one for my daughter-in-law, so I could watch my baby grandaughter throughout the Summer months while we are up north.The Logitech QuickCam Pro is very easy to set up. It is small, so easily portable. Good choice and I am recommending it for my 2 adult children who live in other states.
really nice cam with unique application program. enjoyed the video quality but doesn't follow a person properly during the chat.
The resolution is near-HD at maximum, so it should be enough for most uses. The specs on this webcam suggest a higher quality performance than for a basic unit. I found that the high resolution, sharp image and autofocus features all seem to be as promised. Only two little knocks: (1) While the software allows user adjustment of contrast, brightness and color, the critical settings are very touchy and take a little effort and practice to get right; (2) the desktop stand works, but could have been so better designed and more stable - it's merely adequate. My use: recording legal interviews and depositions.
